Hi, I’m Laura!

I’m an advanced Certified Chef from Matthew Kenney’s PlantLab Culinary School (Certified 2017) who trained in Sydney and Barcelona.

My 6 years developing and running an award-winning health food eatery in Bristol, and catering for retreats, NHS staff wellbeing events, corporate co-working spaces, and a youth club organisation. All of this has deeply shaped my approach to flavour, nourishment, and creating food experiences that feel both thoughtful and memorable.

I live in Clevedon, Somerset, and love to travel both near and further afield to bring the most nutritious and delicious food possible!

I cater plant-based menus (vegetarian and vegan) that are delicious, purposeful, and nutritionally designed, using balanced wholefoods with a focus on healthy, seasonal, rainbow-coloured, and nutrient-dense ingredients.

Every ingredient on my menus nourishes your body, delights your taste buds, and enhances your experience.

Alongside my work as a chef, I’m also a UKIHCA Health Coach, Reiki Master and Sound Practitioner,
and offer a range of nourishing wellbeing sessions to complement your retreat.

I can cater to 24 people, and a minimum of 8.

Over the past six years, I’ve developed and run an award-winning health food eatery and catering service in Bristol, catered for wellness and yoga retreats in the UK and Spain, and supported NHS staff wellbeing events, corporate co-working spaces, and youth organisations. These experiences have deepened my approach to flavour, nourishment, and delivering an exceptional experience.

  • I studied at the Matthew Kenney Culinary School, a world-recognised and accredited institution dedicated to purposeful, nutritionally focused cuisine.
  • I’ve worked in the health and wellbeing space for 15 years in events, health coaching, catering and co-created an award-winning organic health-food eatery and catering service in Bristol called Beets n’ Roots.
  • For every meal on retreats, I walk you through the ingredients, give a glimpse into the preparation, and share the incredible benefits of nourishing, nutrient-rich food.
  • I’ve also worked in zero-waste shops where I bring many of their ingredients, and strive to work as sustainably and waste-free as possible.

I trained as Advanced Certified Chef from Matthew Kenney PlantLab Culinary School in 2017. My foundational level took place in Sydney and continued my advanced training in Barcelona. I absolutely loved it!

Yes, absolutely! All my menus are gluten free and vegetarian, with many vegan options too. I’ll contact you prior to confirm any other allergens or intolerances.

Yes absolutely, I take food health and safety seriously.

I holds Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate (April 2026), along with appropriate catering insurance and an allergen policy.

I maintain a Food Hygiene Rating of 5.

Yes, I handle both the setup (served buffet style), as well as clearing and tidying the kitchen. I kindly ask that dishes are stacked in the dishwasher once you’ve finished. 

There are many variables to catering, and I will always do my best to work within your budget.

I’m based in Clevedon, so I’ll be travelling to you. Travel is charged at £0.45/mile.

I’m happy to be flexible around your schedule. I just ask that meal times are emailed to me 5 weeks before the retreat, along with any updates if things change.

I ask that dietary requirements are emailed to me 5 weeks before the retreat.

A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking and retreat dates.

More than 4 weeks prior to the retreat:
Booking Deposit is non-refundable. Any remaining balance already paid will be refunded, and any unpaid balance will be waived.

Within 4 weeks of the retreat:
Full catering amount remains payable, as menus, purchasing and preparation are scheduled in advance.

Change to Attendee Numbers:

  • Reductions: Any reduction in confirmed attendee numbers after the Booking Deposit has been paid is non-refundable and will still be charged in full.
  • Additional Attendees: If you wish to add attendees, the final numbers must be confirmed at least [4 weeks] before the event. The applicable price per additional person will be added to the Total Balance Amount.

Any changes to menu items or schedule must be communicated promptly. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate requests, but cannot be guaranteed if made late.

  1. Click the ‘Send Me A Quote’ button below and fill out your details – I’ll email you with a quote within 48 hours. You are also welcome to email me at laura@laurawooding.com.

  2. I’ll email you a Catering Booking Summary which you can reply to confirm that you’re happy with the details and terms outlined.
  3. Pay the deposit within 1 week via bank transfer (invoice will be emailed separately) to secure your dates. Once received, I will email you a booking confirmation.
  4. I kindly ask you to email me the final guest numbers, dietary requirements and meal times 5 weeks before the start of your retreat, and I will then send the final menus to you.
  5. I’ll email you to confirm arrival times and ensure everything is ready for your retreat catering!

I ideally work with a 5-week lead time, but if I have availability, I’ll gladly make it happen for you. Please note I often gets booked up, so early booking is recommended.
