Sauna & Sound

Join me, Laura – certified Sound Practitioner and one of Suvi Sauna’s hosts (perhaps we’ve met!) at Suvi Sauna in Clevedon for an immersive sound journey by the sea.

The Sauna and Sound session was lovely, I left feeling so relaxed, I will definitely be back. Overall, a really positive experience, so thank you. The tea and almond treat topped it off perfectly too.
I attended one of Laura's Sauna sound baths - it was a great experience. Professionally organised, welcoming, expertly run and truly relaxing. Laura has a wonderful connection with people and really strives to help her clients. Thoroughly recommend
A unique experience! The sound of the wind around the sauna add to the sound, and made it feel even more cosy inside.
It was so relaxing and soul nourishing. I could feel how good it was for me.

Summer Sessions

Our NEW experience - May onwards!

We start with a grounding 15-minute sauna and sound immersion (think drum, himalayan bowls) with gentle breathing.

Once you’re settled in the heat and your body has begun to soften…

We’ll walk to the grass and use the scoop to tip some Permission to Rest locally produced salt scrub into the palm of your hand, created by Emma Graham (a familiar face to many of you through her yoga classes and time at Suvi Sauna).

Working in gentle circular motions, begin to massage it into your skin; avoiding any broken skin, the soles of your feet, and your face. As the mineral-rich salt crystals work their magic, keep massaging until your skin begins to tingle and feel deliciously zingy.

The heat of the sauna will have already warmed and softened your skin and opened your pores, meaning the nourishing coconut and jojoba oils – infused with pure essential oils, can absorb more readily into the skin. The salts gently exfoliate as you go, rubbing away dead skin and leaving you and your skin feeling both cleansed and rejuvenated.

Then comes a refreshing plunge into the lake. The cold water naturally rinses away the scrub and closes the pores, sealing in all that mineral and oil goodness. The sensation of warm, freshly-buffed skin meeting cold water is so invigorating and a sensory experience you really do have to feel to believe.

We’ll join back in the sauna for a second 15-minute sound bath to energise and balance, and finish with an optional final dip and a few minutes to warm up integrate before heading off.

Not forgetting a cuppa and homemade chocolate too!

A sound bath is a deeply meditative experience where you’re fully immersed in soothing, therapeutic sound waves. I use Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, a sea drum, koshi chimes, and seed shakers to create carefully curated frequencies that guide you gently and deeply on a journey inward.

The combination of sound, vibration, and intention gently guides you from your usual waking state of consciousness (beta) into a deeply relaxed state (alpha, theta, and delta).

In this state of deep relaxation, your body’s natural healing abilities can activate more effectively, supporting overall health and wellbeing.

Some of the many benefits of a Sound Bath:

  • Improves sleep quality
  • Eases stress and releases physical tension
  • Calms and grounds the mind
  • Provides relief from aches and pains
  • Helps reduce anxiety
  • Restores balance and harmony within the nervous system

Sound baths offer a unique opportunity to reset both mind and body, leaving you feeling calm, balanced, and rejuvenated.
