Your Healthy Gut Reset is a personalised 3 month 1:1 Health & Nutrition Coaching Programme which takes a holistic 360-degree approach to restoring your gut health, supporting mental health and learning how to make sustainable, long lasting lifestyle change.

I personally guide you, through health and cognitive behavioural coaching, to make simple small changes which make big positive differences to your health. This programme is tailored to your individual goals and needs. Throughout I provide the knowledge, guidance, motivation, inspiration and accountability throughout your health journey so it’s enjoyable and never overwhelming.

You’ll develop a strong foundation for health whilst applying the ‘food as medicine’ approach, to aid in preventing dis-ease for optimal short and long term health.

This step-by-step programme will help you to start eating well, improve digestion, feel happier, increase energy, stress less, find mental clarity, get fit as well as feel overall healthy and happy!

Within each session you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the gut, mind and lifestyle choices that work best for you and how to bring these into your life with ease. You’ll gain practical tools and recipes which you’ll be able to do right away, leaving you inspired and motivated to improve your health even more!

Whole-Person Approach

I practice a holistic approach to gut health and wellbeing, which means we look at nutrition plus how 12 areas of your life are connected, like home cooking, physical movement and sleep whilst digging deep to discover your root causes and treating you as a whole person. Does your low energy stop you from eating well? Does stress in your relationships cause you to overeat? 

We work together to nourish your life ON and OFF the plate to eliminate digestive problems, improve mental health and lifestyle. You can eat all the kale in the world but if you are not nourishing other areas of your life too, your gut health and overall wellbeing can feel out of balance.

I support you in developing the skills, self- confidence and belief in yourself to make positive changes, even when making change is hard.

I’m an NHS Health Coach and certified Integrative Nutrition Private Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, “the world’s largest nutrition school”, with a particular interest in working with people experiencing gut and mental health challenges I take a client-centred holistic approach to guide you through your health journey and create long term sustainable change.

I’m a qualified Chef and Nutrition Advisor, plus continue professional development in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Life Coaching and Advanced Gut Health, to support people with digestive health, mental wellbeing and revive their energy levels, to feel amazing again!

I offer Lunch with Laura, a personalised 1:1 2 hour consulation and coaching session. This combines health and nutrition coaching with cookery. You’ll receive a unique mini gut, mind and lifestyle plan, all tailored around your unique health and wellbeing goals, needs and desires, which you can start right away!

This kickstart session gives you a chance to see if health coaching is for you, enables us to get to know each other and can alone make powerful differences to your gut health, mental wellbeing and lifestyle.

Consider how much you might be willing to spend on midweek snacks, supplements, or drinks on the weekend, all of these quickly add up, yet often they aren’t helping you to reach your goals and feel your healthiest self. We’ll often spend to make ourselves ‘feel happy’ but are these things really making you happy?

Coaching on the other hand is a process that gets under all of this and creates real shifts in your life that will bring you closer to finding real happiness and contentment. Often coaching will also touch on financial matters and money mindset too, so sometimes coaching can help you spend less on unhelpful or unnecessary things saving you money in the long run.

Our sessions takes place via video coaching. Coaching over video call is like coaching in person, the only difference is that we’re talking through a screen rather than face to face! This method of coaching means you can work with me no matter where you live from the comfort and safety of your own home.

My one-off consulations are 2 hours long and combine conversation with a little cookery.

Coaching sessions within my 3 month programme are 30 minutes or 1 hour long. The process is conversational, question lead and is very much lead by you. A 2 hour in-person or online cookery class is included, along with a shopping trip.

I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition‘s cutting-edge Health Coaching Training Programme. In May ’22 I also certified in Advanced Gut Health with IIN too. See my certificates here.

During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.

My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.

Every 3 month programme includes 9 private 1:1 coaching sessions on video calls or over the phone.

This includes: 1 hour consultation, 4 x 30 minute follow up session (for the first 4 consecutive weeks) then 3 x 1 hour follow up sessions (biweekly meeting) and a 1 hour final session.

The programme also includes a cookery class with me, an online cookbook, menu planner, email and whatsapp support, a surprise along the way and much more!

Absolutely! My programme is mostly based online or over the phone. Depending on where you live, the only difference would be the 1:1 Shopping Trip & Cookery Class would be on video call.

We'll follow current and new directions, whilst setting health goals, recommendations and actionable steps for the next 3 months. We carry on integrating small consistent steps, building upon your unique plan.

1:1 support

This includes 6 private 1-2-1 coaching sessions on video calls (zoom/ facetime/ skype) or over the phone, meeting every two weeks.

  • 5 x 1 hour coaching sessions
  • 1 x 1 hour final session

An additional 3 months is favourable amount of time to establish lifelong habits and behaviours to help positively transform your digestive health, improve mental wellbeing and create a long term sustainable happy lifestyle!
